- Sign up for an account using our signup form.
- Fill out either application form A or B from our How to Apply page, and have your medical practitioner fill out the Medical Document.
- Mail the original, signed forms to:
Broken Coast Cannabis

As soon as we receive and verify your paperwork we will send you an email informing you that your account has been activated. At this point you will be able to purchase our products.
Forms and additional information can be found on our How to Apply page.
Yes, with your approval email or letter, a registration certificate will be attached. This document contains all of the information you will need and will serve as proof of possession for your product.
We hear from many clients who would like to have a 'membership card' that allows them to carry medical cannabis, but unfortunately, the government doesn't accept these cards as legal proof of possession.
No. You can order as much product as you like, but you can only order a maximum of 150 grams at one time.
Please note: Removal of the monthly order limit doesn't change your public possession limit which is still based on your daily prescription amount.
Medical insurance plans typically do not cover medical cannabis in Canada. In certain cases it can be claimed with Veterans Affairs or as a health deduction from personal income tax. Speak to your doctor or insurance provider for more details.
If your account says INACTIVE, it means that your account hasn't yet been authorized and you are not able to order medical marijuana at this time. Your account will remain INACTIVE until you've sent in the required paperwork and we have verified it with your health care practitioner's office. Visit our How to Apply page for more information.
You may also have an INACTIVE account status if your prescription has expired (although we do send out periodic emails to let you know when you're close to your prescription expiry date).
Please feel free to email us regarding your account status at email@example.com or give us a call at 1-888-486-7579.
Nope! No penalties, no hidden fees. You are free to cancel with us at any time. (But we hope you won't want to!)
If you would like us to transfer your medical document to another licensed producer we can assist you in that as well.
Our current offering can be seen at the top of our Strains page. Below them, be sure to check out “In Production” for a list of upcoming strains.
We are always identifying, producing, and testing additional strains. Looking for something in particular? Send us an email and let us know! We tailor our strain selection to meet customer demand.
Yes, you can split your monthly prescribed amount between different strains, with a minimum purchase amount of 10 grams.
All strains will be whole-cured buds unless the name specifically states that the product has been milled. Our milled products are composed entirely of cured, whole buds and contain no 'trim' or 'shake'.
You must sign up and be logged in to an account to see product photos and full descriptions. Once logged in, you can access our full strain details. There are no strings attached; if you sign up and then decide not to become a customer you are under no obligation to complete an application form or provide us with any more information.
All photos used on our website are of the product produced and cured at our facility and are posted as they become available for purchase. What you see is what you get - no substitutions, no stock photography.
Returns can be made within 30 days of purchase by sending any remaining product back to Broken Coast Cannabis along with a written note indicating the reason for return. Broken Coast will only issue a credit for up to 10g per strain for a maximum of 30g per order. Any product returned to us has to be destroyed and cannot be resold or returned to you; please consider this when ordering strains you have not tried before.
Only the returned portion of the product can be credited towards your prescription order limit, regardless of what portion of the order was refunded.
We use only pesticides approved for use on cannabis by the Pesticide Management Resource Agency (PMRA) that have been assessed for health and safety, and are thus permitted for use in the ACMPR by Health Canada.
We are proactively using Ascend Sulphur (elemental sulphur) and Rootshield (Trichoderma harzianum) on every batch.
We are also using, on an as-needed basis:
- Opal and Kopa (fatty acid potassium salts)
MIlstop (potassium bicarbonate)
Botanigard ES (Beauveria bassiana)
Terpenes are the aromatic compounds that give each strain of cannabis its unique flavour and scent. These compounds are found throughout the natural world, which is why certain strains may have familiar notes of citrus, pine, pepper, or hops. Our terpene profiles are determined through lab testing, and show the amounts of some of the key terpenes present in the strain.

When will the strike occur?
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) issued a strike notice as of October 16th, 2018. which means that they will be in a legal position to strike as early as Monday, October 22, 2018. Should rotating strike action occur, the postal service will continue to operate. Rotating legal strikes may be isolated to one or two specific locations at a time, affecting those areas for a period of 24 hours. In that situation, Canada Post would continue to accept, process and deliver mail and parcels in all other areas. Once the temporary disruption ends, they will return to normal operations in the affected locations. For updates on the strike please visit Canada Post's website here: https://www.canadapost.ca/web/en/comm/list.page?ecid=murl|ddn|lr|5
Broken Coast will still be offering both Canada Post and Purolator as the shipping options for our clients, though any job action will very likely result in possible delivery delays. In addition to disruptions to Canada Post delivery times, please be advised that Purolator delivery timelines may also be impacted due to shifting parcel volume.
Any clients with PO boxes and FlexDelivery addresses, wishing to ship via Purolator must complete and file an address amendment form, changing your shipping address to your residential address to allow for Purolator delivery. We would like to encourage clients to send their forms in as soon as possible to allow plenty of time for processing as we anticipate that our office may be receiving a large number of amendment forms.
